About Claudia Ault and Larry Ault
From the beginning, the Ault name has been synonymous with excellence in the practice of real estate. Claudia’s goal was to establish a reputation of utmost respect in the market she served. Larry has added to that his belief that hard work and attention to detail are important to anything worth doing well, and working with their clients absolutely deserves that attention! Both have attained their Broker's License and serve as Broker Associates with Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty.
Claudia grew up in Maryland and was educated on the East Coast. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Catawba College in NC and a Masters of Arts degree from Villanova University. Over the years, Claudia, her husband George, and Larry enjoyed the opportunity of moving several times to new localities. Claudia taught in the public schools and universities during those moves. She didn’t realize it then, but the years in the classroom were preparation for this business of real estate! Education continues to be paramount for her. Over the years she has earned several designations providing more expertise for her clients. These include: Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) and Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE).
Larry was born in Philadelphia, PA and then spent a lot of his formative years in Michigan, north of Detroit. He came to Sedona when he was only 10! Larry has changed a lot since then and so has Sedona! The town had one stoplight in those days and the single-movie theater is long gone !
Larry is proud to say that he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He has proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Upon his honorable discharge, he managed a restaurant for 2 1/2 years. He joined Claudia in the real estate business and has steadily expanded his professionaliam by earning the designations of Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and ePRO. Larry is married to Gina and together they are growing the next generation of real estate professional in toddler, Michael. Their four-footed family includes two Golden Retrievers and a housecat.
Family and community are of paramount importance to both Claudia and Larry. Both are active in Kiwanis International, in The Church of the Red Rocks, and in individual pursuits where they each give back to their community.
With the birth of Michael Ault in 2002, there are now three generations of Aults in Sedona and the Verde Valley. Their clients know that they are here to stay, and that is a large part of their success in business.
